Happy Valentine's Day!

And what are YOU doing for Valentine's Day?????

Me, I'm taking my not-so-little-Valentines to dinner with their two Aunts (my sister-in-law and cousin-in-law, respectively). I know, I know, LOSER! But I don't have a boyfriend and anyway, really, there is nobody I would rather be with than my children (in this case, my two daughters, since my son is in Pittsburgh). And I'm taking them to a restaurant where I kind of have a crush on the owner! Look at what I'm wearing tonight:




Red AND low-cut! Hehe. He doesn't have a chance against my low-cut blouse.......

To keep with the knitting theme of this blog, I knit this red v-neck several years ago, when I first started machine-knitting. I think this was the first blouse I made for myself. There are still strings I have to tuck in because I am too lazy to cut them off. It is a Sandee's Kwikknit pattern. There's a better picture of this blouse somewhere in this blog.

Right now, I am working on a 100 Things About Me post. I am only up to about 50, and most of them are about my ex-husband and children. Not too exciting, though, since some of the most interesting (and shocking!) things I refuse to put in writing! Especially on this blog!

Found some inspiration to knit again

I was browsing on some knitting sites the last few days, looking for a little inspiration to knit again, and what did I find? These lovely machine-knit patterns are from the Knitter's Edge website:









Aren't they lovely? Tricia is soooo talented! I think I will get the shawl that has been on my machine for weeks off and start one of these sweaters. I've also been wearing my green sweater set a lot lately and have been getting a lot of compliments.

Speaking of compliments, in my quest to be more deserving of compliments and to be "date-ready", I signed up yesterday with a pilates instructor for 5 private lessons and 5 group lessons. I am so desperate! I gained back about 4 of the 14 pounds I lost last Fall and want to nip that in the bud. I also want to lose another 10 pounds in time for my birthday next month. I bought a ton of lean cuisine meals in an effort to hopefully emulate my success with the HMR diet food. Wish me luck!
